The following is an extract from our licensing Authority:

Re: Law of 27 March 1995 on insurance mediation and distribution of insurance, as amended by the law of 11 April 1999 and by the Law of 22 February 2006.

“We have informed the competent authorities of the following member states of your intention to carry on insurance mediation activities under the freedom to provide services: Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Gibraltar, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Germany and Liechtenstein do not require any notification. Finland and Latvia must be informed only where the insurance mediation activities are carried on under the freedom of the establishment”.
